My upcoming project

4218 ConnecticutI’ve represented others in their rehab projects, done construction work for others, and handed out countless bits of rehab advice in the past few years. Always working for others, but never for myself. Until now that is. I’d like to introduce my little pet project for the next few months. This will be a modest rehab project, with an expected turnaround of four months. When we’re done, you won’t be able to recognize this 2 bedroom, 1 bath house in St. Louis neighborhood of Tower Grove South. In fact, it won’t even be a 2 bed, 1 bath house anymore. We’ll be adding a bathroom.

I plan on tracking the progress of the project on this blog for your reading pleasure. Hopefully it prove to be an example of how to do things right, not the other way around. We’re not set to close until April 23, but I’ll post more pictures and information later this week to “set the stage.” You’ll be able to follow this blog series through the My Projects category, which is accessible from the Other Topics tab in the sub menu. Check back regularly to see if I sink or swim with this one.

    Outstanding – Good luck!

I love those little houses on Connecticut. I looked at one myself when I bought my first home.
